Default Bluetooth Issue IOS 12.3

FYI..
I have noticed that after this Iphone update to 12.3 last week I can no longer scroll through my music via Bluetooth with the MMI. I tried restarting the Iphone and resetting the MMI..
I would assume Apple will fix ????

Assume nothing.. Did you try deleting the bluetooth on both the car and MMI and re-pairing?

I’m not sure what the issue is but at least on iOS 12.3.1, I can fully browse my iPhone’s music, playlists, etc via the MMI on Bluetooth. I don’t normally use BT as I use CarPlaytypically, but switched to it to try and reproduce but couldn’t.

Rebooting my iPhne fixed the issue. I can access my folder/music again as before via Bluetooth.

One thing I will say is that if you had another music app open, for example, Pandora — the MMI shows whatever song was playing on that app and not your music library. I did have to go into Apple Music first before I could browse my library while on Bluetooth

Perhaps thats the magic sauce. After rebooting I opened the Apple Music app to choose an Album to listen to. After that I could browse my music on the phone. So perhaps the reboot was unnecessary !

Yes that worked. Thanks ... Funny for about a minute the system was jumping all around paging through songs, then it stopped and seems to wrk fine now.

How about Siri voice control via the steering wheel using Bluetooth? Mine suddenly doesn’t work. I’ve rebooted my phone, re-pairing, rebooted my MMI, still doesn’t work anymore. A feature I use almost daily. The message on the MMI pops up but no beep-beep from Siri. I’m frantic to try and get it working again.

Stupid question maybe -- but you're long holding the voice button on the steering wheel, yes?
