Burger Motorsport Development B9 S4

Proud to announce that we have received our development S4 and will soon start offering products to cover this model. In the three years we have started working on the VAG Group vehicles this is the 7th addition to the stable and will be developed concurrently with the new 400hp RS3 since the board technology used for our plug and play device will be shared on the cars since they both use new tech SENT protocol sensors. A lot of the work has been done over the past year on our RS3 370hp version which shares some of the tech.
For guys that are not familiar with us we have been developing BMW products since 2007 and consider ourselves market leaders in the field of advanced piggy back systems. In 2013 we entered the VW/Audi world with offerings that we have expanded over time. Our headquarters are in California USA but we also run a R&D facility in South Africa for Euro spec cars and through our vast dealer network make sure the products are compatible for all markets and fuels. Our site can be viewed at BMW Performance parts | BurgerTuning.com and our VAG brand related products here: VW JB1 and JB4 Tuners, Intakes and Accessories - BurgerTuning.com

Sub'd. My previous car was a F36 with the N26 engine. Heard nothing but good things about your JB4's in the Bimmer community. Also, I'm located in California as well, if you need a test car...

Looks like things are picking up in the A4 side, looking forward to hearing updates on this. Probably won't do anything for a few thousand miles, but definitely interested in a non-ECU tune. I know in the B8/B8.5 community the Chipwerke was an alternative, but too many people complained about shifting problems with the unit, hoping this isn't the case in the B9.

We have been doing VAG group cars now for two and half years with a great portion of them being DSG/Steptronic. You can view the range here: VW JB1 and JB4 Tuners, Intakes and Accessories - BurgerTuning.com
To date we have not had issues with rough shifting and iron out the cause in the 1year we took to develop our first unit prior to release. The Chipwerke is quite a basic unit compared to our offering and it only connects to the two boost sensors limiting its capability.

Makes sense, connecting to the OBD port seems like it would give a more comprehensive solution compared to chipwerke. Being that a lot of the work is done with the RS3, how long do you think it will be until it becomes available, 3 months, 6 months?

It will be less than 6 months.

You can catch updates here: New 2018 AUDI S4 Development Car - N54Tech.com - Your Source for International Turbo BMW Racing Discussion
At this point we making a circuit board change to increase the fueling capability the final unit will require.
