Default Cleaning Alcantara - need advice

This is the first car i've owned with Alcantara.

I've cleaned many many car interiors and exteriors, but I have no idea how to clean this material properly. I really don't want it to LOOK like i've cleaned it, or change the color / appearance.

With that said, I have a small bit of Schmutz on my driver door Alcantara insert near the arm rest. It looks somewhat organic (food) or possibly even sunblock, but It's not dirt, oil, or grease.

Who can recommend a good method of cleaning this material and also any product or soap recommendations are welcome.

Thanks!

gr

Alcantara is very easy to clean. All it takes is a damp cloth (white or another one that doesn't discolor) and if you have some stubborn dirt or oil from touching use a mild detergent. Don't drench it. You can use a brush or sponge to agitate areas with dirt to get it out. At the end use a dry towel to dry it.

I used a Mr Clean Magic Eraser when I had my B6 with Alcantara and it worked great.
