If I recall, its a 10 point script. You earn points every day you open the OBDEleven app -- I've never had to actually pay any money other than what I initially laid out for the pro version.

I dug this up from another thread in the B9 A5/S5 forum:

Seat control unit drivers side 36
Byte 2 bit 0-1 This is MMI part (This should now make easy entry work It added the option in MMI to store seat settings to key, tick this and reset MMI then my easy entry started to work)

Maybe the key is to reset mmi? I have the option already there. And the save to key as well. Do you know if the reset changes all of the settings back to factory, or just kind of reboots it?

I can confirm that after fiddling around with this with my new OBD11, it started working... I previously had this all set up in the MMI, but it didn't work. However, I just did this again with my new OBD11, module 36, long coding, easy_entry_front to active, checked module 09, byte 14, bit 2 is at 1, then went into the MMI to activate the easy entry again, it started working as soon as turn off the engine and open the door.

So apparently, if you just mess with the MMI alone, following the instructions to store key setting and etc., it wouldn't work (for me). Then after messing with it with OBD11, it started working.

Ok, so I will have to try the OBDeleven....just ordered it. Now just need to figure out what the long code is vs the apps! Lol. Thanks ywang98 for that input.

Will this only work if you unlock/lock with the key, or will it also work with the convenience feature on the door handle? I have mine checked from the factory and when I tried to run the app on OBD11, it got hung up and never did whatever it was supposed to do. I have no problems going into the long coding, but I want to make sure it works with either lock/unlock method.

I've only locked/unlocked the car with the handle. Works under that scenario. I can't imagine that it wouldn't work when using the key fob. I'll give it a shot later today.

I got it working!! Even though I had it checked in the MMi, I went into the OBD11 to see if the option was active, and it was not. So I activated it and saved. Then I reset the MMi. When I opened the door to get out, the seat slid back a few inches. When I got into the car this morning and started it, the seat moved back to memory position. Yay!

Great!
I tried it with key fob last night, works both ways, key and handle.
After enabling this feature, initially I didn't think much of it and was thinking of disabling it, but after living with this for a while, it is almost a must, especially if you are old (like me) and have tight space to get in and out of the car.

It might sound silly, but I really like it because I carry a knife in my pocket and the clip always scratched the side of the steering wheel when I got in. Now I dont have to worry about that.
