Default Going from 18 to 19 in.

Hey everyone,

I have a 2018 S4 and wanted to pick up a set of 19" wheels for a summer setup. For the wheels, I'm fairly set on the BBS CI-R, which will be 19x9 @ 42 offset. It looks like the stock wheel setup is 18x8 ET40, and comparing the two on willtheyfit makes them look almost identical for sizing, except slightly bigger obviously. I was also planning on the Michelin Pilot Sport 4S in 265/35/19. Should everything be fine without spacers or would a 255 tire be safer for rubbing issues? Thanks!

Are you not working with a tire & wheel shop for your non-stock-size fitment questions? This is exactly the problem those businesses exist to help you solve and most will meet or beat any online price for wheels tires or both...just saying

The stock 19" wheel is 8.5Jx19 ET40 with a 245/35R19 tire. Some people have put 255/35R19 rubber on that same wheel with no issues, which is also what the S5 comes with for some weird reason. That is all I can personally tell you.

Hey there,

We just did a 2018 S4 with our BD-11 in 20x9 +32 all around with no fitment/rubbing issues.

If you have any questions, please feel free to PM me.
