Gotland Green

Green is just a tough color to get right on a car. I would buy something more olive and less hunter-ish. It fits other vehicles like the allroad pretty well, but not so much the S4 to me.

I do not entirely disagree. I find it interesting that Audi picked it for a standard color. Still, there's something intriguing about it to me, and in many ways it ups the stealth/sleeper game just a little.

That's a color that I would find Jaguar and even Aston Martin using, and maybe with the right interior (brown or tan?) and some subtle black trim on the outside (black optic package) I could see that on an S4/S5

If I order an S4, I would consider Gotland. I keep cars 10 years so resale isn't really important and I do love green cars. My Hard Rock is Tank Green and the 993 was Aventurine Green.

I had a 2005 A6 in the dark green metallic of the day with the "baseball glove" leather interior, it had the 3.2 engine and all the options, except sport suspension (which was said to be 'brittle') -- I kept it 66,000+ miles with nary a problem. It was my first automatic -- I had traded a 2003 allroad for it.
I have always been a sucker for the dark greens, but Audi's version is almost black -- but, it was a beautiful car.
