I purchased a 2018 Audi A4. The Audi salesman told me before and after purchasing my Audi A4 that it had "hands free trunk release". My A4 manual acknowledges this feature and gives instructions on how to use it.

However, I was told today during my routine maintenance that my A4 does not have this feature. I have been researching online and have discovered several sources including an Audi dealer website that lists "hands free trunk release" as a feature of the prestige. Am I missing something?

You have it. Kick slowly underneath the center of the diffuser without kicking the car and it will pop open.
