Default Meh - Flat at 1K miles

I was looking forward to some spirited driving last weekend, but a nail on the edge of the tire (forcing a replacement) on Friday evening put an end to that idea.

You all should check your spare tire well. I had a spare, but no tool kit - working with the dealer on that one. You all should check under your spare to make sure you have a kit. Not entirely sure how they would squeeze the jack and stuff on top of the battery and under the spare, but my car doesn't have a jack or lug wrench.

Anyway - Audi Roadside is big cities is great. They just sent a tech from the dealer to install the spare.

No Contisport6's in stock. Have a loaner until Wed.

Not sure if the S4 is like my S5, but the jack and tool kit is in front of the spare tire.

Caught a screw in the shoulder of my left front tire. Also has to be replaced. Guess I should have called Audi roadside assistance as well. Just took it by the local Discount Tire and they put on the temporary spare and had to order the tire. Hope to get it put on tomorrow, but may have to wait until Friday

Do you have 18" or 19" tires? On a similar note, I have gotten more flats in the past three years in Dallas than I had in the rest of my life combined.

19's, but that wasn't the root cause. Big *** nail in the outer tread block. I live in H'town - I assume I'll kill one or two of these 19's over the next few years.

Well, the tool kit isn't where it was in my B8, or where the manual says it's located, but the toolkit is located ahead of the spare tire. there's another lift-up panel there.

Having just installed a spare today I can tell you the tool kit is directly below the spare.

Could there be different B9 build specs? Mine is most definitely not under the spare. It's located ahead of the spare in the little drug smuggling cubby Audi so thoughtfully installed
