I’ve parked my car for 2 weeks (a B9 S4) while I go on holiday, ensured everything was in order and checked the windows were closed. The MMI app is now reporting a window open so I called the hotel and had the check it, all is fine. Why is the MMI app incorrectly reporting this?

Hmm this morning I got in a car and it showed my trunk open but it wasn’t I got that with hood 3 -4 times now

Try refreshing the warning messages in the app. That actually sends a command to the car and refreshes everything.

When you refresh under vehicle status it just reads back what the last status it saw was, it doesn’t actually ping the car and update like refreshing the warning messages does.

sometimes even refreshing doesn’t help. Mine showed the window was open even when it wasn’t and I was standing right next to the car. Refreshing didn’t help but it fixed itself the next day.

Edit: The app cant be trusted completely. It acts weird now and then. I haven’t renewed it after Audi connect ran out.
