Nav not saving previous desinations

Nav not saving previous desinations
I'm not sure when as I use my cell some times for the nav but the MMI has lost all my previous destinations and does not save new ones. I had Audi check it while it was there for it 20k service and they were like the personal route assistance needs to be on. So I turned it on, entered a destination, and NOT saved.... Suggestions? Thank you all

I might have the opposite problem.
I noticed today one of my old destinations still has the checkered flag next to it even if I'm not headed to that address.
Not totally a worry but I found it odd that it had a checkered flag next to an Olive Garden I was at a month ago.
