S4 Play

I had enabled the active lane assist via OBD11 and decided to turn it off the other day.
What I thought would be simplest is to hard reset each of the affected modules with OBD11. When I got to Module 44, Steering Control, the OBD11 gets stuck at Loading Data and never returns the sub-menus.
I am getting dash error messages on the ALA which makes me wonder if that is precluding the computer from handing over the data to OBD11.

I would appreciate any tips on how to get around this, or what perhaps I need to turn back on to get Mod 44 to respond.
