I always monitor my oil level as I had a 2011 A4 that burned oil like crazy. It was a pain in the ***. I just noticed my oil level dropped for the first time. I have 4,400 miles on the car. Is this normal?

From the reading I've done, nobody has reported oil consumption so far. You will want to make sure you follow the proper steps to check the oil, which is to make sure the car is warm, turn the engine off, wait approx 2 minutes then turn only the ignition (not the engine) back on and check the oil level. If you try that and it's still low then I would just top it off and see if it happens again before you worry too much.

It looks you went to measure while the engine is running. Try it with the engine off?

Check owners on proper procedure to check oil. Then make sure to drive the SNOT OUT OF IT... The rings may not have sealed correctly. These cars like to be driven not babied. I've never had any vehicle 2 or 4 wheeled that used oil. But I've never babied any of my cars or bikes.. JMO

That is completely normal. Don't be surprised if you check it again a few days later and it has moved up a little to the full line or just below.

Totally NORMAL.

Again, make SURE you are using the correct Oil Checking procedure per the owner's manual, and make certain you are using that methodology consistently for accurate results.
