No Splash/Mud Guards?

Hello All!

Proud owner of my second Audi! Had the previous version of the Q5 before (nice but boring) and then had a Golf R for the last year and just upgraded to the car I've always wanted S4 BABY!

Are there really no splash guards for this car? I cringe when I'm driving on wet and gravel roads and here the stand and stones hitting the bottom of the car (an sure some are direct on the rocker panel). I love the beauty of the car but would love to get something like rally armor flaps on this car ASAP.

As much as I Google, I only find universal (which are crap).

Does anyone know any other options which are fitting specifically for this car? If not, a real shame and will hate to detail come the fall and see all the damage...

There is none as far as I know. Just like your Golf R, the S4 is quite low and close to the ground. Once you add mud guards or flaps, they'll scrape every speed bump or sections of pavement that transition from a steep angle. I should know because my '11 GTI had them and they took a beating. The B8/8.5 S5 and RS5 didn't have a mud guard available, too.

They do exist. The B9 doesn't sit any lower than the B8 and my B8S4 had mud flaps :) Here's the front splash guards (pictured are the rear ones for some reason):

With some digging I am sure you can find the rear ones, too.

Mud Flaps? IDK...it’s an Audi S, not a Suburu. I’d rethink adding mud flaps. They look cheap. I didn’t really notice any particular wear in that area on my last Audi, or my last two GTI’s, for that matter, and I’m not expecting to on this one. Regular wash/wax should keep it looking fine. Having said that, it’s your ride, do what you want.

There are no official Audi mudguards that are designed for the S4

I can understand where you are coming from. But keep your car over a good 10 years and live in Canada and you will have problems. My old GTI was starting some good rust in that corner behind the front wheel.

I had them on my Golf R with no issue. I find the S4 quite high actually.

Again, this is incorrect as I posted above. Part 8W9075111 is a genuine part, as is 8W9075101 (rear). Check your facts. Read posts higher up.

If you go to the Audi USA or UK Accessories website, the mud flaps are only available for the A4. If you look under S4, the mud flaps are not offered. The A4 mud flaps may fit the S4 but Audi does not recommend using it for the S4 due to the lower ground clearance.
