OS12 - Carplay
So has anyone gotten Waze or Googlemaps to work with the new OS12 and Apple Carplay? I'm not getting anything available for those options on the Carplay screen when it comes up in my '18 S4. Do we need to possibly do an MMI update or something?

Google maps has been updated
google maps works on CarPlay now in my S4 with the latest update v5.0

Waze and Google Maps both work with CarPlay and now on the app store.. One minor issue with Waze that is supposed to be corrected is that day/night mode is not currently tied to the vehicle lights.. That may be a plus for some users since when I go under bridges, the MMI display doesn't turn to night mode for the 2 seconds that the headlights come on like it does with Waze on Android Auto. One thing missing from CarPlay is the on-screen speedometer -- that is due to an Apple requirement, and not a decision by Waze. The customizable speed alerts and speed limits, where available, do work though.
