Default Overhead mini view fixed in latest software update

I took my car in for the 10K service and requested they install all available software updates. Now the 360 view in the mini view works properly, and stays working properly. Had it for 2 weeks now and it hasn't gone back to the graphic view.

When you say software, do you mean the MMI version? If so, what version did you have previously, and what is it now? Also, which dealer was this?

I literally said "please install all software updates available for the car as it's quite buggy" when my car was in for it's 10K service at Livermore Audi.

I didn't record the old software version number before the update. Here's the current version in the MMI setup:

Software version: 1316
Gracenote Database Region North America Version 12
Navigation database: V30959802DL 0069 NAR 2019
Media Driver: DEV_MMX2QC_AU_NAR_G22_061PROD-1
Telephone Driver 10.735.888

That should be the latest one - it is what is installed on my '19 A4 I bought at the turn of the year.

The '19 A4 Prestige model I test drove did not have any flukes with the camera views either.

If you get a chance, would you be able to check in your MMI if you have "early, medium, late" settings for the auto low beam headlights (NOT the auto high beams)? There was a previous thread that was debating if some versions had this ability.

Yes, I do.

Also, the auto high beam is something else I activated through OBDEleven and is located under that dropdown menu selection as "Headlight assistant."

I also have subwoofer control with the B&O sound, not sure if this is something specific to '19 or MMI versions.

I have those options in my '18 MMI, so I guess I have the latest update? Not sure... Also, not really sure what the high assist does. Bought the car in Nov of last year, so maybe it got updated before I took it home.

Yes mine has those options. My car was built in spring of 2018 so its very recent. Previously however the mini view would only work once or twice then go back to the black background, but after the software update now it works all the time.

you know in the settings you can have it display the area around u or the graphic picture of the car.

If you were choosing to display the area and it was switching back to the graphic then that's an issue.

But you can pick which one you want.

Right, the setting doesn't stick. This is a known issue. The OP is saying there is a software update so that the setting sticks.
