Why is Audi equipping RS models with such awful looking wheels? Both the RS4 and RS5 wheels this generation are horrid.

www.audi.co.uk says the S4 starts from 45,200 UKPounds (about $63K) the RS4 Avant starts at 61,625 (about $86K)
I think the UK has a 20% sales tax (VAT) on cars though, so proportionately it's better to think of a 35% uplift?
Which would have put it comfortably below an AMG E63 4-Matic which is pretty much the only US choice for a performance wagon...

The actual price differential then between S4 and RS4 would be closer to $15K-20K for US prices. My guess based on available data is starting at $67K, though it seems there is a snowball's chance in hell of a US-spec model, whether avant or sedan.
Well, I had to see all the cool new Audis, or course. Though I didn't know the RS4 would be premiered there until I walked in and saw it there, gawking at me (so I then had to gawk back). Adjacent to the Audi section was a Bugatti Chiron, a Lamborghini Aventador and Huracan, and all the high performance Porsches... so it was in good company.

DAYUUMMM. The RS4 configurator is up on Audi.de, and after setting one up the way I would like it came out to 98,680 Euros ($118,416). That of course includes their 19% VAT, so in a parallel universe where this car made it to the USA, our pre-tax price for this configuration would be closer to $94K. Base price is 80,690 Euro ($78K pre-tax in dollars). All useless speculation, since Audi of America would whittle the car down the way they want it and provide a small lame number of package options.
