I read this on the B9/S4 Facebook page, but it appears that many of our S4's that were ordered with the S Sport package are missing the 'S' badged Rear Brake Dust Covers. It appears to be that in that situation, the calipers are actually from the A4 as they don't have the holes for the plate to snap into. Here's some pictures of my car and what it should be... (#3 is wrong, and #10 is missing). Contacting dealer today for remedy.

My dealer looked up the part numbers and the diagram. The part numbers are incorrect. One is for the A4 avant and the other is for the S5. The S4 does not ship with rear dust covers.

I don't have rear dust covers either. 2018 S4 with Sport Package built October 2017.

Actually - how do we tell what the build month was?

I sent an email with pictures to my dealer and they asked me to come in so they can review the issue and consider next steps.

I believe it is on the spec sticker in the door jam, although I know mine as my car was a custom order.

Are we sure the S4 should have those dust covers? I don't recall seeing them on any S4. The S5 does have them.

From what I've read, some S4's have them, some don't. There's definitely an inconsistency out of the factory. Let's call it an Easter Egg at this point, but I'm looking for Audi and/or dealer to confirm/validate what it should be. If it should, those that don't have it, should get it rectified.

I have em on my S4. Not sure of the build month, but purchased in April.
