Transmission and brake fluid
Anyone know how to flush brake and change transmission fluid...I can't find any information anywhere
Audi told me yesterday that 20k miles service includes brake flushing....but I don't believe they did it because my brake caliper were dusty when i went in and I checked them when I got out and calipers looked the same

The brake fluid exchange process really has nothing to do with the exterior appearance of the calipers. The only part that they would have touched would be the bleeder screws on the calipers and the reservoir cap under the hood.

I just find it hard to believe they never touched caliper when they got bleeder screws...... my brake calipers are real dusty any finger touch you could tell somebody touched them

Jondin, how many miles on this car? Brake fluid is done at 2 years.
You can find the USA service schedules for many model years at the Audi USA website.

Transmission fluid change certainly would not be due now, Jondin. Do the brake fluid flush in one year.

Well according to Audi dealer they did brake flush ....they told me brake flush should be done every 20k miles or every 2 years.
As far as transmission I know it will never be due according to Audi.
I have Audi care so if they said they did brake flush I want to make sure they did it....and in this case I'm pretty sure they did not do it.

If you are, quote, "pretty sure" the brake flush was not performed and that the comments written into your service receipt about it being done are therefore fraudulent, I would recommend you phone up your dealer's Service Manager and ask to speak with them about the situation. There will be cameras in the service bay and they will be able to verify one way or the other as to whether the technician did or didn't do the service one way or another.
It goes without saying that if you are wrong and the service was indeed performed, your relationship and any goodwill you might have started to establish with this dealer may be permanently soured...
