I'll be at the dealer on Friday and will check in about this oil and see if they have it. If so, I'll grab a couple of fotos.

Corroboration.
Sorry about them not being rotated.
#1 UL - Hood opened
#2 UR - Hood opened -- nothing up my sleeve -- and you can see the little sticker in both hood open pics
#3 LR - More or less a close up of the "sticker" -- clearly saying 508 and admonishing the reader to ONLY use VW 508.

508 or nothing and worth a chat (direct look at the bottle to verify 508) with the service adviser and/or the parts manager etc . to make sure since the "system" might fail them.

Here is the Professional OE oil -- once again I was told this is sold at the dealer.
06M-198-405-F - oil filter
GE5-257-71L- - DSP 0W20 B-CYC - oil
N-013-849-5 - washer
Car runs about 4-5 degrees hotter with this oil.
Car has the typical 5,000 mile Audi feel -- i.e., the car today, is noticeably more powerful than the one I had yesterday.
Also, with the new tire pressure 37F 35R, the car handles my "secret" corner perhaps +2 or +3MPH faster. 80F ambient temp, ADS setting "dynamic" -- paddle shifters in use.
If you choose NOT to use this oil, I have no idea what will happen -- I must say, though, that the operating temp is higher. I would assume this would correspond to higher fuel economy and perhaps even more power. Whatever, this car is serious fun!
Note the writing says this is an Audi oil (top picture).

Liter? what the heck is that? \sarcasm
Also this looks like it was imported from the UK. Big oil hates us and is way behind getting the "domestic" VW 508's here....

I bought all-weather floormats and the trunk liner from this dealership, and they shipped cross-country for less than I could get them anywhere else.
I'd contact them:
david.polovin@audirocklin.com
4448 Granite Dr.
Rocklin, CA 95677
Service: (866) 938-3423
If that doesn't work for you, I will ship some from Alabamastan for you next week, provided my dealership has it.

I note 2 things with interest.... that barcode on the back of the bottle is an EAN and not the more common (here) US/Canada UPC code.
Also, the country code (400) is Germany. I guess that's not surprising there, either. That probably explains why this is, for now at least, apparently only available from the dealership.
