Default Water temp range?

What’s normal? Mine is running around 210F around town, saw it as high as 222F with some aggressive acceleration. Normal?

check that - looking for feedback on oil temp - not water. Multitasking...

You must mean oil temp? Water temp is the gauge on the left which should always show middle of the scale. As to oil temps, you seem to be running within a normal range. Check pages 11 and 12 of the owner's manual.

Water / oil - my bad. You’re right, I’m looking for guidance on the proper oil temp range. I can’t find it in the manual - including pages 11 and 12. Thanks for the feedback.

Ok, you’ve answered my original question - thank you, I appreciate it.

BUT, now I need to figure out why my page 11 in the owners manual is nothing like what you attached. I bought my car used (2700 miles) from an out-of-state Audi dealer. Is there a specific S4 manual?

A4 manual is common to S4, you'll see the TFSI 260kW engine referred many times.

My owners manual also don't have any of those information either.

Thanks. My OCD tendencies can't let this go. Looks like my version of the manual is different than yours. Why they dropped what I deem to be important information is beyond me. Of course now I'm left to wonder what else I don't know...

In that version, the oil temp info is on page 21.
