White wax-like drips under the car.

I assuming this is a protective sealant from the factory melting but want to make sure it's normal.
Noticed drips on a floor on both sides of the engine.

I saw something that sounds like that in the engine compartment, up front. I assumed something similar to a modern cosmoline.

Yes, but I thought the PDR process was supposed to get virtually all of it and then "the drive home" would "burn" the rest of it off.

Ask your dealer -- better safe than sorry.
