Winter wheel & tire options

Is there an easy reference for finding out more information on the manufacturer of the wheel itself? I'm looking at one by TR Motorsports (Tire Rack Motorsports) and one by MSW (powered by OZ), but I'd like to know if either is thought to be cheap quality, or more likely to have issues with cracking or similar. Anyone have a resource for that info?

You could ask Tire Rack if they are both low-pressure cast or gravity cast. Gravity is the cheap way.

Pulled the trigger on the Michelin X-ICE XI3 wrapped around the TR Motorsports C4 (black) wheels (35mm offset, low pressure cast)! Just over $1330 shipped to my local installer!

I had some messages asking for a full car picture of the BBS SX wheels I put on my S4 with Michelin Pilot Alpin 4 tires.
Here you go:
BBS SX 8x18 wheels in bright silver with Michelin Pilot Alpin PA4 tires.

seven-six-two, how's the handling and drive comfort with the PA4's? I have the same tire sitting in my garage. Most likely it I swap out the summer setup within the next two weeks.

Noticeably softer ride. I did not really notice any road noise difference around town or on the freeway. The tires obviously don't have the precision carving of summer performance tires, and we all know and understand the tradeoffs. The Alpin PA4's ride more like a really good all season tire than something like Blizzaks might. I've been a fan of Michelin since having AS/3's on my B7 S4 and these Alpin PA4's seem to be an excellent tire.

Living in New Hampshire I'm already thinking about this.... On my S4 build out I did the 19" package with summer tires. So that now means I need to drop some more money.... The summers are Pirelli 245/35/zr19, 93y.
The dealer of course has packages that sells for well over $2k, that is not going to happen.
I was looking at Pirelli Winter 2, I can get those for $300 or so each and put them on the current 19" rims. I also have a friend who has a pro-tuning shop who is looking into 18" rims for me, which I put some other winter tire on.
How low on the speed rating can we go down to? I have a set of winter Blizzak's 245/40/r15 97H's that have one winter on them, I used them for my 2016 A4. Is H rating too low for a s4? My guess that it is but I figured I would ask.
I'm sure it's in the manual, I have not looked yet. I came here first. Thank you all.

Here's my setup. Really happy with it so far. Might try to find some eBay Audi-logo center caps that fit at a later date (over on the S3 forums a few people have been hard at work at that for a while now, but to my knowledge nobody has succeeded without a DIY). I also opted not to put the plastic lug bolt covers on because even with a removal tool they look like they'll be pretty difficult to remove in spring/to change a wintertime flat, so the bolts aren't as pretty as they "should" look.
Like stillwaterS6, I too applied some Drexler ceramic wheel coat to these before installing. I only did a single coat, but there was enough left in the bottle to do a second. My plan is to use that for a single coat on the summer wheels after first seeing how it holds up on the winters, and I'll buy a second bottle for a second coat on each if it seems to make sense. I did kind of a crappy job applying it but hey, better to get your technique down on some cheap $150 wheels than on $826 OEM wheels, right?
