I found 11 codes last week, mostly misfiring problems and o2 sensor. Took the car to the dealer for a new maf. 2 days later, cel came back on. Now the service tech tells me not to worry and live with it. Although the car is running strong, I'm not comfortable driving around with cel on. Any thoughts? Thanks.

Your car won't pass inspection with a CEL -- its a legit problem and they should fix it.

I threw out the sheet w/ all the codes. I can check tomorrow when I get the car back.

It was causing misfire problems at WOT that manifested themselves as a slight hiccup as the tach swung through ~3,000rpm. It might be difficult for the tech to identify the damage, so you might ask the tech to look closely. My car runs noticeably stronger now that the fuel pump has been replaced.

You might have a point here. My car buckled pretty violently @ 4000 rpms. Felt like fuel cutoff.
