#$@% tail gate won't open! before i go to the dealer, any tips?
when i unlock the car (clicker or w\ key) and try to open the rear door, i hear the sound of the solenoid turn over, but the gate won't pop open. then, when i try to lock the car, it will only sound the lock-confirm sound when i push down on the gate.
this has come up once or twice before, but its always gone away almost instantly.
i was planning on a trip to the dealer late next week, but this warrants an earlier visit - unless someone has a work-around to get me by for a few days.

Oh, and I had to load and unload my car (took friend to LAX) via folding the rear seats down - very annoying
