**2 frozen waste gates, turbos toast. Audi is fixing...what else should I upgrade while in shop?
I had a wooshing sound and took my S4 into the dealer. They called back to inform me that both waste gates were stuck shut!! Overboost! Audi is replacing both turbos... While they have the engine out, what else needs upgraded and who make the best part(s)??? TBB? BiPass valves? Hoses and clamps?
Please help.. I have a day or 2 to get parts and get them to the dealer to install.
Thanks

will they install aftermarket parts??
if they do, wouldn't have have to void your warranty right there? i would say just have have em fix it with OEM parts, and if you are mechanically inclined, you can do the tbb and bpv upgrade yourself later on. just keep an eye on it.
if you want to do upgrades, then bailey bpv is a popular choice here, or you can go with forged to save a few bux. then MTM and APR bi-pipe are popular for TBB replacement. ofcouse, these will cost you more than taking the OEM parts on the short run.
some ppl here talks about extened warranty maybe that's better for u.
if you really want to, maybe you can arrange for a K04 turbo upgrade

water pump and timing belt
One congenital weakness of our motors is the water pump being driven by the smooth back side of the toothed timing belt. If the pump freezes, it'll burn up the timing belt, and then bent valves happen. Prophylactic replacement is the prescription. 60K miles seems to be the usual recommendation, but maybe now is good if the motor's out. Then you're good for another 60K.
