I have always wanted to change my upshift downshift direction in Tip mode...
I feel like upshifting should be the "Pull" and the downshifting should be the "Push". Basically the direction reversed...
Any thoughts?

You are big fan of watching sequential gear shifts in-cabin race footage...
I wish I could help you, I agree about the direction for shifting. I have never heard of anyone that has done the modification you are looking for.

Well.... (long)
I initially hoped that there were magnets attached the shift plate and I could just swap the wires. Not what it appears..
There is a circuit board under the shift plate onto which all the indicators (P,R,N,D,etc) are soldered. What it looked like to me was that the only way would be to scratch away the solder paths (or whatever they are called) on the board and jumper with wires. My Bentley has all kinds of warnings in Bold red print that say do not remove the circuit board from the underside of the shift plate or it can crack. I searched the price/junkyards for a spare to do the mod on, but the prices were too high for me. IIRC >$400. So I scratched it off my wish list.
They might be cheaper now, but I fear doing it on my car. If that board breaks, ????? I doubt it would disable the car, but I don't have proof that it won't. I don't think our cars have direct linkage. Everything goes thru the TCU.
