So please any one tell me will a O1E six speed out of a 03 A6 with the 2.7 work in a 2000 s4 six speed? I just payed for the transmission and am waiting till tomorrow for them to finish pulling it out, im in the Denver area till possibly saturday and need some other parts for my 00' s4 Tip car also any around can help me, or any one knows if the transmission will work, highly appreciated Thanks!!

there should be no issuess with the tranny swap. only question is, you said 03 6speed into 00 6speed? but you also said your car is a tip and your swapping a 6 speed into it the tip there will be A LOT of work involved. better so just buy a 6speed s4 than do the swap. Dont get me wrong it has been done but its a project.

Sorry for the confusion, I should have been more clear in my post. I have a 2000 nagaro blue 6 speed S4,I just picked up a extra 6 speed on a good deal for a 1000$ out of a 03 A6 that had a engine fire. Thank you for letting me know I will be ok with the swap. I also have a 00 silver, tip S4 I am building as my family/sport car it has 30,000 miles was picked up as a theft recovery. I need the transmission,abs,airbag and antitheft modules.ANY ONE HAVE THESE MODULES FOR A 2000, WILL A TCU OUT OF A 01/02 WORK IF I USE MY VAG COM.

I'm waiting for the seals I ordered ,then i'm going to do the swap this weekend, the 03 a6 transmission is the same it just has the updated 1st,2nd syncros so its a direct swap i was told. ill snap some pic's n post them this weekend when i get started possibly tomorrow night ill get started, ill let you know if and what sensors I swap to the 03 a6 trans.
