Default i don't think either would do well in, say, a triathlon

they dont really float too good

in the shotput, though, i think the WRX might have the edge.

Did this a few weeks ago. It's close till 4th gear. The faster you go, the worse it gets for WRX.

Default not sure

they did have a nice belly pan, and i know my old baja bug would skim over deep puddles very good at speed. i guess it is possible

Default Supposedly, the air trapped in the wheel wells could keep it afloat. Never seen it done though.

My 1971 VW Type III Squareback sure as hell wasn't waterproof! After every drive in the rain, I'd grab a flashlight and find where the *new* leak was coming from. Besides that, it was a fun car to work on.

Make sure you clean all that shine off of your tires; it'll get you better hook up.

Default Re: 04 WRX vs. 00 S4

I raced a 02 WRX when I had my stock nogaro s4. Basically dead even. I pulled once we got to the top of 3rd, and once you hit 4th the s4 should be gone.

A very good race to test driver capability. Get a good launch :-)
