hey are you keepin the car in 3rd or are you shifting into 4th? my best so far has been only a 13.7@98mph....might be because i shift into 4th.

Psshh... 45 minutes from the 10 to the 105.

Only once, though. =P But it takes me almost 40 minutes to get to a 9am class at UCLA on Sunset Blvd. from Pacific Palisades. At UCI, I could just walk across the street. Doh!

I still do that drive almost daily... from Sunset Blvd on the 405, past the 10, past the 105 to...

Irvine.

Once I get past the 105, everything is generally okay. Once or twice the 110 area has sucked pretty bad, but that was cause of an accident. I honestly hate that drive so much. The biggest problem i have is getting somewhere on time w/o being too early. Sometimes it takes forever to get past the LAX and the 105, other times it doesn't take so long. Whatever it is, its stupid. I say, vote, pray that a high speed rail system is built. I would have no problem getting 95% of the cars off the road for all those damn commuters. Other option is to build a second deck on the 405 for people going to straight to LAX or the 10. It would solve a huge problem in my opinion. What about those reversible lane things they've been talking about? I think that is a bit freaky.

Actually...

I'm going for my masters in Urban Planning. However, I'm focusing on environmental issues. But, I'll let my buddies in transportation planning know that they've got a lot of work ahead of them. ;-)
