Default 10k service...concerns about my mods...(more)
1. im chipped, do i need to get a replacement ecu?
2. short shifter, do i need to put the stock shifter back?

Im just afraid that the dealer will snoop aroiund especially when they drive the car.

I wouldn't worry about the short shifter. It's just 2 stupid pieces of metal.

Default My 2 cents
don't worry about the short shifter, BUT
I suggest putting stock ECU for all services.

My dealer hasn't given me any grief for exhaust either.

But make sure you clear the "low-voltage" code with the VAGtool. You might be able to find someone to trade chip for stocked...and just buy vagtool from www.ross-tech.com.

or just buy a spare...me I just borrow my neighbors =)

He just had to chip his after borrowing mine=)

think dealer will bitch about either?

but take the chip out! and clear error codes!
