Some guy was parked on the side of the road and decided to gun it as I was making a left turn onto a side street. Anybody have experience with accidents in Jersey???

did you call the police? did they give him a careless driving ticket? did he admit it was his fault ? Is his insurance gonna pay for it or yours? Dont feel too bad i only put 126 miles on before i got hit.

But the guy who hit me didn't want to talk to me AT ALL. I have no idea if he admitted fault, I seriously doubt he did. The cop didn't even inquire very much and didn't ask my passengers for statements. He said the report will be available Wednesday. I've never gone through something like this so I don't know how it works with the insurance companies, but I hope the fact that I have two witnesses that will support my story and he had none will help. The problem is, I was being covered temporarily by my insurance company in WI and I'm sure they will not be pleased. Not to mention the fact that all the insurance quotes I got from NJ companies this week are now useless because I'll have to report this accident to them. What a nightmare.

the officer took mineat the scene you have to make sure they take witness statements so all the statements match up and the people can be supeanaed in court if the guy tries to claim not his fault
