Default 18 x 11 on a standard body!? is this a typo?

says 18x11 with 305/30/18... they look wide, but not THAT wide. someone give me more info... here i am on 10.4" wide tires like a sucker, while those tires would be like 12

http://www.designitprototype.com/race_teams.htm</a

Default ive thought about it a lot and i think it would be possible if you replaced the susp. uprights

seems theres more space in there wheel wells but the uprights dont have very good clearance. i wish someone would make uprights with better space... cheaper than widebody for the people who dont care about the cosmetics and just wanna get the rubber on the ground. im pretty sure i have within 5mm of as wide as you can go on stock fenders, but if there was more inward space that would rock.

Default really??? (more)

im at 25 front and 24.75 rear with 235 race tires (about the same as most 255 street tires), and i only rub at the track, never on the street. (front fenders are rolled a lot, but rears are stock)
