The rumors I have heard for the 2001 model so far are:

1. White/silver gauge faces

2. Two new (exterior) colors; two of the old ones to be replaced.

I don't think those rumors have been substantiated yet; can anyone confirm, deny, or speculate further about additional changes? Come to think of it, do we even KNOW that the S4 will be offered as a 2001 model?

If there will be a 2001 production model, here's my wish list for some minor changes:

- offer Volcano black and racing green mica as exterior colors
- offer a middle-gray leather (tungsten gray from A6?) for interior
- give the shifter console an aluminum cover to match the aluminum beltline trim on "sport interior")
- white/silver gauge faces
- 2 driver's seat memories
- AVANT!
- Euro-shape license plate holder on the trunk lid, like the '96 A4 (OK, so I'm weird)

Any other suggestions?

wheels and a reduction in the gap between the tire and fender. How about hi-beam xenons and fog lights -- hey, if people are gonna' flash their brights at me for having xenons, I'd like to be able to blind them when I flash them back with my hi-beam xenons . . . ;-)
