Hi,

Here's the scoop:
1. First Bose replaced due to flickering display and shifting tone controls.

2. Second Bose fixed problems but sounds much different from the first...it's as if there's a hidden "Loud" feature that's been turned on. I can only get close to the same sound as before by taking the bass 4-5 notches below center...I used to have it on or just above center.

What gives?

Dont know what gives, but I have the same thing happening on my BOSE POS.

Does BOSE come up when you power on? Might be in non-BOSE mode (symphony)

How long did it take to get new radios? My dealer says 6 months backorder!

They changed mine right away.

When I picked up the car from the dealer, I asked them to code the car for one touch up windows. He also asked if I wanted the Bose code changed as well. I didn't know what that was, and he said it makes it sound better! I said sure. I don't know what or how it was done, but I also have to keep the bass 3 to 4 settings below center. After adjusting the EQ a little I think it's fine.

Dealer didn't code the radio correctly... they set it to non-bose. Simple fix.

Mine does say BOSE, and it still sounds as if it is louder...
