you could EASILY get 688hp out of an S4...for a brief moment. 500hp is the “reliable” number claimed
A car with something like 210hp/liter is basically a pyrotechnic device. There isn’t a VW tranny in the world that could take that sort of power for more than a couple of seconds.

yeah they had the white 4dr awd golf at waterfest.. i talked to the owner
he said it was something like a stage 6+ with nos.. the thing was SICK.. he said when he blows by mustangs at 150mph they go nutz..as he was driving away he did a burn out in 2nd and all 4 tires lit up which was pretty phatt... 1/4 numbers were something like low 11's with fwd with awd he said somewhere in the high 10's..<p>John
