40 psi too much for the V rated Nokian WR'(225-45-17)s on stock rims?
btw, first impressions are very impressive. I was expecting crap on dry from a snow tire, and they grab good. In fact they feel better than the Kumo tires that were on there in the first place, only gripe I have is you begin to feel disconnected from the car when you go past 80, but i can live with that considering ill be in snow on the weekends. More to come, also dont forget to answer my question in the subject line

that's probably an alignment issue.
underinflated tires will typically wear on the inner AND outer edges. If only the inner edge wore, that's probably and alignment issue (too much toe out).

I am on my second set of Nokians. I ran 34# front, 36# rear, and they stick just fine. I live in Minnesota and winter driving is pure fun... The inflation level was suggested by my Audi tech and they have yet to stear me wrong...
