50K Maintenance
 

Does anybody know where to find a list of the items to be done at the 50K service? I can't find my service book.

www.audiusa.com should have it listed. You have to "register" your car first.

IIRC... the only additional item outside of fluids, plugs, etc. is the serpentine belt.

40K and 60K are the big ones. 50K is pretty much an oil change.

I have the MY 2000 schedule in a .pdf format.

Audi service schedule is confusing...
 

I had AOA fax me their schedule and also found my original manual. Both show the major S4 service at 64,000 miles. They list the 1.8T major service at 60,000. Even so, my service warning message started coming on at around 58,000 miles. I am at 59,500 now. One dealer told me 60,000 and another told me 64,000.

Also, will having the service performed at good shop (but not audi dealer) void me certified pre-owned warranty? AOA didn't give me a clear answer. TIA...
