ABS Module update
As some of you know, I've been working on a solution to repair the failing ABS modules in our cars.
I've been testing a new method and am glad to say that it is a success. I believe the new method will be more robust than what I was doing before (I've obtained a new flux to allow soldering that was impossible before). Previously I had been using conductive silver epoxy to repair broken electrical connections, and the new method is less expensive (the silver paste was $100/oz). I would post some pictures of my repair, but I don't have a camera that can shoot at that fine of a resolution (the work is all done under a uscope)! So I feel confident enough to do this for anybody who needs their module repaired at a considerably reduced price from what the commercial outfits are charging for this repair. The best I can do in terms of a guarantee is a 30 day DOA-warranty - refund your money if it doesn't work when you get it. Anyone interested send me an email: sidespar at yahoo dot com |
Dude that rocks, I'll keep that in mind when mine kicks the bucket!
