Abs and Trac light Help Please
I was driving my 01 2.7t today and when I accelerated aggressively my Abs light and Traction light both came on. I stopped and turned the car off and when restarted the lights were off. I tried to duplicate the accelerating situation and sure enough the lights came back on. So, I stopped and hooked up my VAG scanner and got a brake code of G202 Wheel Angle Sender. When I've searched for this code all I can find is G202 (YAW Sensor) which is not the same as whats happening to me. Has anyone had this happen or know whats going wrong? Thanks in advance.

This happend to me once, 2.7T RS4. The wheelsensor gave a interrupt which gives both lights. The moment you turn off your engine and back on, it dissapears.
If it comes back again, and does'nt go off at all, one of the wheel sensor is broken, and both ABS / Traction wont work untill you fix that sensor.

To be honest it scared the **** out of me. The moment you have that fault, both ABS and Traction control do not work anymore. So if you need an urgent brake, your car is going like a wild canon.
It's better to shut down the vehicle and simply reset it. If it is permanent you should fix the broken sensor. It's not recommended to drive with a broken ABS or Traction. You'll simply slip in rain, the brake-force on the highway is just completly different without.
