Acceleration delay
Why do I usually get a 0.5 sec or so delay when accelerating from a stop? It does not seem to happen all the time. Also, it seems to happen less when I turn off the ESP. How can I get the car to always take off immediately when I step on the gas?

No - This happens in normal automatic mode. When I step on the gas hard, I sometimes have to wait a brief bit for the car to take off. Sometimes it just doesn't take off right away. This only happens from a dead stop.
If I put the car in tip mode it seems to take off pretty quickly when I hit the gas hard. Then it shifts to 2nd automatically.

Thanks. While the last 2 posts were made to this thread I checked other posts for the codes. However, I do not think this is my solution. I am trying to resolve a short lag in normal auto mode. Nevertheless, I am glad to see that I can recode the tip mode to remove the automatic early shift up to second.
