to adjust coilover height can i just...
jack car up, remove wheel, move 2 perch rings to wherever i want them, tighten them against eachother, put wheel back on and put car back on the ground, OR will i need a spring compressor to move the perch rings?

how much change in alignment will be caused by an inch change in ride height?
i'm thinking about setting the ride height an inch higher, having it aligned, then lowering it an inch for track weekends... will this throw my alignment way off, or will it still be reasonable?
