Default Advice Wanted!!! Buying DP's and Cat back exhaust by the EOM

Here's what I need:

1. DP's w/ all the O2 sensers as stock.
2. CB exhaust that has a low grumble, but no drone at highway speeds.
3. Fit between the 2 and price.

Here's what I've come up with for DP's:
*AWE DP's are high quality and $1600
*Milltek's are $1850
*Forge DP's are $1700

For the Cat Back:
*Borla is quiet, for $560 plus $50 for the non-ugly tips
*VM2 - does it have a low growl w/o the drone? $1000 AND ITS A DUAL EXHAUST SYSTEM. Does this matter?
*Scorpion - supposed to be the quietest? $1000 from AMS
*Forge exhaust for $900. Don't know anything about this.

So, based on my requirements, what should I do?
1. AWE DP's and VM2 exhaust
2. AWE DP's plus Borla to save $$
3. Forge and forge for fit

Is fit really an issue? Should I hold out and buy used exhaust

What about RS4 dp's? Do they flow enough? Cost more than $2K right?

Thanks

Default Get the Forge/Milltek....guy just posted he had one for sale!

That is IMO the best sounding exhaust. It's quiet and has no drone inside. I just ordered AWE DP's and Todd gave me a great deal...call them!

I'd look at APR's exhaust as well as Forge - UUC and Borla may be too loud for you

Default I can't say enough good things about the VM. If you can find a used

VM1 or VM2, I would grab it.

Borla is louder than Milltek and VM2 is really loud! I have the Borla and there is minimal drone.

Default The VM2 drones!!! but...

It is sooooo worth it when you get on it hard! Or, when you're engine braking and at low revs it pops and gurgles!! Ya ain't gonna be stealth anymore though! I'm guessing you saw/heard the video I posted today?
