After my quest to incorporate my Nomad into my stereo, I realize it's not even worth it...
 

After spending $90 on an auxillary adapter from PIE...the resulting sound is no better than a tape adapter. I'm sticking with CD's.

??? the blitzsafe i have sounds 10000000x times better than my craptacular tape adapter

It might just be that the Nomad sucks ass compared to the iPod.

could be... does it have a line out or do you have to use headphone out?

you'd be fine. I was toggling back and forth to compare and it's not even close. The CD sounds so much better. I just returned the $90 adapter and am done with it for now. Even when I compared the adapter to the tape adapter it was about the same sound quality.
