What's the problem, and what codes did they pull from the ECU?

Default what was the code that you got from the vag com? If it was code 01203 or ...

that would be another bosch abs unit going out. there have been a number of them going out lately on s4's and a4's check to see if you have the 5.0 or the 5.3 unit. Also pass that along to your dealership. what exactly does your cluster do? If your abs light comes on and your parking brake flashes, then it's your bosch system.

Default I had the ABS/Flashing brake light problem...

I did not pull the codes myself, just took it to the dealer and told them to fix it. I would really like to have my car back though.

The ABS unit was the second thing they replaced.

Default TOTAL BS....

your problem was the abs unit from the beggining
no reason to replace the cluster
now the reason they say is a bad speed sensor is because the abs unit they install is for a FWD car not a quattro it doesn't recognize one of the sensors
tell them to check the coding

Default I have the same problem. Looks like its a wiring problem

I have found a intermitted short in the wires to the ABS controller. The problem is the wires led into the dash and not so easy to trace.
