Default Airbag problem

I replaced the ignition lock housing in my 2000 S4 but ever since I put the steering wheel back on the airbag light won't go out. I checkedthe connection and everything is where its supposed to be. Your thoughts?

Did you clear the codes from the ECU?

Default It's pretty easy. Sit in the car, turn the ignition on (more).

turn on the parking lights (not the headlights)
turn off the parking lights
turn on your windshield wipers to high
wash windows
turn off your wipers
activate right turn signal
cancel turn signal
activate left turn signal
cancel turn signal
honk horn 3 times

The light should go off at that point. If not, repeat the steps until it works.

You know what I hope he doesn't actually try that. It was a good laugh though.

Come on - you know you want him to post up saying that he couldn't get it to work.
