Default alright guys, i'm looking at doing another run of Valentine One remote mute switches...

Who is interested? This is what the V1.5 mute switches looked like...

However, for this run, i think i'm going to be using a much sleeker/covert switch.

So who is interested? Drop me an email for more details.

Default I think incorporating it in the headlight stalk would be wise...

It doesn't have a pull function and it could be drilled and wires run through it with no worry of damaging existing switchgear.

I guess it could even be placed on the tip, not unlike the cruise/decel button.

Default Requires taking your hand off the wheel. How about putting it on the back of the wheel

itself? Somewhere at 9 or 3 where your fingers wrap around the wheel.

Default I don't know about you, but I don't like the idea of a wire wrapping around the steering column.

Plus it's a non-essential switch, so if you're in a situation where you need both hands on the wheel you won't go for it

Plus, putting it on the tip of the light stalk you can keep your hand on the wheel too

Default I've investigated various locations...

and the back of the high beam stock is by far the best location. You dont have to remove your hand from the wheel. If you have your hands at 10 and 2, all you have to do is flick your middle finger onto the switch on the back of the highbeam stalk and you're good to go.

The pressure to activate the mute switch is on the order of 5 to 50 times less than the high beam switch requires.

Default No wrapping around the steering column. If you have your V1 hardwired...

you can just come up through the steering colum between the plastic paneling to be a bit more covert...

Yea, but when you turn the wheel the wire moves with it... and wraps around the shaft in the column.
