Default Alright guys (and sammy) I need some advice.(longish) I am pretty sure I messed...

up my transmission today. I was upshifting from second to third and missed (no excuse, I just missed) it. It has seemed notchier lately but I just messed up. Now second is very difficult to get into and out of now running or not. I have tried to adjust the linkage and it does not seem to do any good.

I am going to go with a Stasis rebuilt (stanard ratio). @ $2227 My dillema is this-

The labor to replace turbos at the same time is about $1000-1300 more. The cost of the turbos will be about $3-3.5K more plus install piping and misc parts.

What do you all think? go for it or just hold off and do the turbos when they go? I figure about $6K more to be 3- eventually going to ASP's fueling.

Lastly, would a southbend clutch work for this set up (ASP K04/RS6)?

Thanks for reading and any and all advice-

Still a noob but learning-

dan

Doing it now will only save money in the long run... If you have the money, do it.

Tough call. Sounds like you might be looking for an excuse. If so, go for it.

Default I thought he was going to install everything at the same time... Wouldn't that save money on labor

or am I completely wrong?

Go for turbos. You will not regret it. Make sure you upgrade your clutch as well.
