Pat, these are all within a few pounds of each other. The better tire should be your pick IMO...
...Hoosiers, however, are known for being light due to the use of fiberglass in their sidewalls.

I agree with LCP, the Kumho's or Hoosiers will be light...
i just put a set of 225x45x17 Kumho's (full tread) on my track wheels.
They are LIGHT...and not TOO bad in the rain.
The new Kumho V7000's have a more streetable tread pattern from comparing my tires to Taner's.

They make some now
This would make a great rain tire, but it's not DOT legal (so we can't run it in our class for SCCA autox):
