AMS & APR K04's Dyno results on 91 octane pump gas
<center><img src="http://pictureposter.audiworld.com/20878/tq__hp.jpg"></center><p>The car.... APR stage 3 kit, RS4 intercoolers, APR(V1 2.25")DP's no kitty's, MTM cat back, 91 octane union 76 gas.
The place... Vishnu tunning, pleaston CA
Stock car refrence....w/cat back exhaust 180 HP
1st up.... AMS chip. Almost no heat soak whatsoever! Out of 6 runs the HP didn't vary by more than 3-5 HP.
2nd up.... APR chip. I had 2 hours and 40 miles between runs for cool down/adapting purposes to keep fair. The APR chip was down on power over 4,000 RPM's verses the AMS chip. The APR chip also had double the heatsoak with up to 10 HP changes over 7 runs.
Conclusion.... The AMS chip is far better (40 HP @ 5,600 RPM's)on 91 octane PUMP gas than the APR. The AMS chip also produces more power with less boost. The A/F ratios are better on the AMS chip also. The chip run's richer up top to keep things cool to prevent pinging. Boost is much more controlled on the AMS chip also.

Don't focus on the max number but the difference between.....
both companies software on the same car. AWE K04 kit posted 260 max HP on the same dyno with beta software. The AWE kit got bad heatsoak and multiple runs ended at 204 HP
