AMS k04 ECU...turns out we were sent the wrong software for the kit.

i hope that clears it all up - i knew something was totally wrong

so what software were you guys actually running if it wasn't the right one ?
 

some test code or some crap that was never supposed to be released ?

it is total horse**** that they aren't on the phone with the installer/driver of the car in question doing everything they can to help (unless I'm mistaken that wasn't the case here?). I'd *expect* that if I gave someone 8K to make my car faster (directly or indirectly). When I said all cleared up I'm sure the owner of this particular vehicle is just glad the whole ordeal is done with.

Agread, JC should be happy, but I really want the write up of the perf diff
 

Between the Piggie/DSM work around and the "newer/correct code". Because bottom line all they did was drop the boost in order to avoid hitting the MAP max. Which is exactly what Mikey did with the bleeder valve.

Ya think? Let's let the dust settle first, and see where we really are.
